Separation of the soul

Wounded soul laid bare 

Wounded heart needing consolation- 

Stripped of all hope 

Bared and left in desolation- 

Walls built around me 

In hopeless desperation- 

Over so many years 

Fear there’s no reconciliation- 

Am I forever doomed? 

To live in horrible separation?
