One Peaceful, Glorified night

            The truth, it came to me one peaceful, glorified night.

            The Lord, he loves me, and with him I can set things right.

           

The sun, it was setting below the mountains, in the autumn of a dream

            And my sweet Lord Jesus came dancing upon a sunbeam

           

He danced on the hills and the sky saying “I am here and also there.”

            “With me by your side all things are possible to bear.”

           

He talked of truths and promises not being kept.

            Saying “I am here for all those who have wept.”

           

“Open your heart and you will see

            You needn’t look very far for me.”

           

“I’m in a friend, a flower, the great blue sky, a tiny little bee.”

            He held out his arms and said

           

“Come to me my sweet child.”

            And he talked in a voice that was tender and mild.

           

“I just want you to know you can call on me.”

            “And no matter where you are, there I will also be!”
